Rest in Peace, P-22. You will be missed.
It is with heavy hearts that we say goodbye to P-22, a beloved mountain lion who called the Hollywood Hills home. P-22 was a majestic and beautiful creature, known for his stunning beauty and fierce determination.
P-22 was born in the Santa Monica Mountains and eventually made his way to Griffith Park, where he quickly became a beloved resident. He was often spotted wandering through the park, taking in the sights and sounds of the city.
Despite his wild nature, P-22 had a special connection with humans and quickly became a symbol of hope and resilience. He reminded us of the importance of preserving natural habitats and the need to coexist with our animal neighbors.
Unfortunately, P-22's life was tragically cut short by a careless driver who struck him with a truck. This senseless act of violence is a reminder of the dangers that our wildlife faces on a daily basis.
P-22 will be deeply missed by all who knew him and those who were fortunate enough to catch a glimpse of him in the wild. His legacy will live on as a reminder of the beauty and
majesty of nature, and the need to protect our animal neighbors.
Rest in peace, P-22. You will always be remembered.
